§ 2-8. Appointment and terms of city clerk and city treasurer.

The city council shall appoint, on the first Monday in October 1964, and on the first Monday of October of each succeeding fourth year, a city clerk and a city treasurer, who shall hold office until the next general municipal election and until their successors are appointed and qualified.
