§ 40-8. Appeal.

An applicant whose registration was denied or registrant whose certificate was revoked shall have the right to appeal to the city clerk. An applicant shall also have the right to appeal any adverse decision of the city clerk to the city council. Any appeal must be demanded in writing sent by certified mail, without the necessity of restricted delivery, to the city clerk within seven calendar days of the decision that is being appealed. The right of appeal to the city council is not in derogation of any other rights in law or equity the applicant might have.
